Thanks to you, the Kickstarter campaign for Irena Genesis Metal Fury was a real success and we are very happy to be able to make a new shoot’em up for the SEGA Genesis. Since the end of the campaign, we have continued to work on the different levels which for the most part have land-based environments with destructible elements. We have also improved the visual rendering with a new color palette for each graphical element and modifications on different sprites to optimize the video memory. In addition, new enemies have been created to add more diversity during the progression.

In a previous news, we mentioned the appearance of a larger screen on the cockpit of the Rayden MG-323 and we decided to use it to display the video telecommunication between Celina and the different protagonists such as Kayshan and Valkun, which will be an opportunity to learn a little more about the mission objective and the story.

In parallel, we continue to prepare the new demo we announced a few weeks ago which will naturally benefit from all the improvements we have made so far. Everyone who participated in the Kickstarter campaign will be able to download a special version that will include an extra full level.

In addition, on April 28th, 2021 we will start sending out backer survey’s to confirm pledges, add additional items, confirm shipping address’s, and total shipping cost. All survey’s will be sent by April 30th, 2021 so don’t forget to check your mailbox!

We will also be opening a Pre-order page for standard editions of the game on May 1, 2021 for those who missed the original kickstarter.
